How it works

Describe it. Build it.
Make it yours.

A conversation that turns into software you can click, change, and keep.

Describe what you need

Start with a sentence or a paragraph: who it’s for, what it should do. Prompt Build plans the screens and the information they need before it builds anything.

Watch it build and run

Your app is assembled, checked, and opened in a live preview. Ask for changes in plain language and only the relevant parts are updated.

Own every line

Look under the hood whenever you want, go back to any earlier version, or download the whole app. Nothing is locked in.

What’s included

A real app,
not a mockup.

Everything you need to build and try your app is included, with the limits stated plainly.

A live preview at its own address

Your app runs at its own web address while you build. Try it right away, see what it’s doing, or bring it back from your saved work any time.

Saved automatically

Your app, your conversation, and every earlier version are saved with your workspace. Close the tab and pick up later.

Follow-ups in plain language

Ask for a change the way you’d ask a colleague. Prompt Build reads what it already built and updates only what needs to change.

Private settings

Give your app the settings and keys it needs to connect to other services. They’re stored securely and never shown again.

On the roadmap

Publishing your app to the web and built-in data storage are next. Until then, you can download your app in one click at any time.

FAQ

Questions,
answered.

The details worth knowing before your first build.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Describe what you need in plain language and refine it through conversation. You can always look at what was built, and it’s a good idea to test your app before sharing it with customers.

What can I build?

Prompt Build is best at web apps for running a business: dashboards, trackers, client portals, booking tools, and prototypes. Sign-in for your own customers, built-in data storage, and publishing to the web still need separate setup.

Can I publish my app on the web?

Not from Prompt Build yet. While you build, your app runs at a temporary address so you can try it. Download your app at any time and host it wherever you like. Publishing is on the roadmap.

How do credits work?

Every build and every change uses credits based on how much work it takes. A small tweak uses a fraction of a credit; a large app uses more. Editing things yourself, downloading your app, and undoing changes never use credits.

What happens if a build fails or I stop it?

You’re only charged for work already done, and anything set aside for the rest is released. Your app and conversation stay saved, so you can fix the issue or ask Prompt Build to continue.

Do unused credits expire?

Paid credits currently have no expiry. Cancelling stops future renewals without removing credits already granted. The free plan includes 10 welcome credits once per workspace.

Ready to build the thing
you keep thinking about?
